HOTEL POLICIES

We get it, rules on vacation… Who wants that? Sometimes a few boundaries are a good thing. Preserve our paradise and your second home by reading up on our hotel policies and guidelines when reserving a room with us at The Local House Hotel.

FRONT DESK HOURS

Our front desk is open every day from 9 AM - 9 PM. Self check-in and check-out services are available 24 hours through our lobby kiosk. 

CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT POLICIES

Check-in Age: Guests must be 21 years or older to reserve a room. Guests must present photo identification and proof of age upon arrival to the hotel. Photo identification must match the name on the reservation.

Check-in Time: Our check-in time is 3PM, however should you need to arrive earlier, if an early arrival is available on your day of arrival, a fee might apply.

Check-out Time: Check-out time is at 11AM. Should you need a late check-out, if a late check-out is available on your day of departure, a fee might apply. The late checkout fee varies, depending on the time of day ($35-$75). Any check out after 3PM will result in the respective nightly rate of the checkout date. 

*If a room is not available upon early arrival or we cannot extend your requested late checkout. You are welcome to store your luggage with the receptionist. 

RESERVATION CANCELLATION & DEPOSIT POLICIES

The hotel’s cancellation & deposit policies vary based on the rate or offer selected. Different policies may also apply during special events & holidays.

Flexible Policy: The reservation may be modified or cancelled up to 72 hours prior to arrival. A one-night (room & tax) deposit is due upon booking. If cancelled or modified within 72 hours of arrival a one-night (room & tax) penalty will apply.

Non-Refundable Policy: The reservation may not be modified or cancelled. The total price of the reservation is due upon booking. In case of cancellation, modification, or no-show, the full (room & tax) penalty will apply.

*Rates confirmed are per room per night and guaranteed for the number of occupants listed on the reservation. The extra person fee is $100 plus 14% tax per person per night.

*Children under 13 years of age stay free with an accompanying adult.

SERVICE FEE

Our Hotel Service Fee is $35 plus 14% tax per room per night and provides you the following amenities:

  • High Speed Wireless Internet access

  • Pool access

  • Pool & beach towels

  • Beach chairs (2) and umbrella (1) per day

  • Beach tote bag 

  • Yoga classes at State of Yoga

PAYMENT POLICIES

A valid EMV credit or debit card is required to guarantee the reservation and must be presented at the time of check-in. The hotel's credit card authorization process seeks approval for $100.00 per day for incidentals in addition to the room and tax charges for the entire stay. You will also be asked to present a valid picture ID. 

Accepted currency: U.S. Dollar

*Cash is not accepted as a method of payment.

ROOM DAMAGES

The incidentals authorization will be used for any damaged items, including stained or torn linen and missing items. 

WI-FI

We want our guests to stay connected. Wi-Fi is available in the public areas of the hotel and access to in-room Wi-Fi is included as part of the Hotel Service Fees.

PET POLICY

Although we love furry friends, they are not allowed in the hotel. 

PARKING POLICY

The hotel partners with a third party company to offer covered valet parking for $40 per day with in/out privileges. 

SMOKING POLICY

The Local House is a non-smoking establishment. Although smoking is not permitted within the hotel building itself, guests who smoke are permitted to do so outside in designated areas. A violation of this policy will result in a $200 fine.

TRANSPORTATION

We do not have a hotel shuttle that provides transportation to/from the Airport. If you would like, we can arrange for a taxi or a private car transfer.

HOUSEKEEPING SERVICE

Our housekeeping team commences daily turndown service at 9AM. Any requests for a later service is based on availability and must be made with the reception. 

PACKAGE POLICY

We will be happy to receive up to two (2) medium sized packages for you before your arrival. Due to limited space, we are unable to receive large packages prior to your arrival. Please make sure that they are addressed as follows:
